This book is the best. We stumbled upon this book at our local tractor supply. At the time we were new to country living and this book has everything you can imagine about homesteading and living off the land. Great reference book and would recommend a copy to anyone interested in self-sufficiency. The author has meticulousy researched all the topics from how to purchase land, recipes, raising animals for food, etc.

great post!
